I have been spending some time in Helsinki working on music for my new album, which will explore the complexities of post-colonial African identities — particularly the way in which hybridity is a part of it — and using language as the crux of this exploration.
I will be joined by the awesome Finnish contemporary ensemble, Defunensemble, and we will share some of this work-in progress music, and perhaps some orchestrations of music from my recently released record, FEELING BODY.

On 2023, the Research Pavilion will take place in Suomenlinna and Helsinki Music Centre in June with a tagline "Puzzled together".
