Thrilled to be sharing that the incredible percussion group Third Coast Percussion are performing my marimba trio, the season of Big rain (Mbura ya Njahĩ), LIVE from their studio for their annual Currents concert. TCP are AMAZING musicians, and it’s been soo lovely getting to know them as they learn my piece! I feel incredibly honoured to have them perform it live, alongside the works of other awesome composers! According to their site, the concert is “an opportunity to explore any new music that we’re excited about.” Tune in to their Youtube and Facebook channels to catch the livestream!
