Catch the premiere of Nyokabi’s piece for marimba trio,, ‘the season of Big rain (Mbura ya Njahĩ)’, performed by members of the Heartland Marimba Quartet! This was written for Heartland Marimba’s Online Composition Festival in October 2020 (with composer Jenni Brandon), which Nyokabi had attended in October 2020. The concert will also feature other exciting new pieces for marimba by other composers from the festival.
